Holding our elected officials responsible for their behavior isn't disrespectful. This isn't just about one social media post. This is about a pattern of mean, rude and hateful social media posts over the past several years. Refusing to respond to the public's concerns with urgency is disrespectful. Using your "rules", traditions and "decorum" as excuses for not taking action is disrespectful. Denigrating women is disrespectful. Misogynoir is disrespectful. Homophobia and racism are disrespectful. Deceit is disrespectful. We are not going to just "move on". Bill Formica must resign and the rest of the Board must take accountability for this mess.
